The Future of Workforce Identity Security.
How the City of Denver partnered with ProofID to migrate to SailPoint IAM technology in record time - and develop in-house identity expertise
Their preferred solution was one with extensive identity and access management (IAM) capabilities, flexibility to cope with the challenges of the future, and plenty of customisability.
But this was only part of the story. Denver also needed support in migrating away from its legacy IAM system, development of collaborative security skills across its workforce, and making management of roles and access as clear and straightforward as possible.
Denver partnered with ProofID to help guide them through the migration and adoption process, moving them towards the SailPoint IAM solution. This included onboarding all enterprise applications, and simplifying the Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes for all employees across the workforce.
Establishing role-based access control (RBAC) ensured that each specific access could be quickly and easily assigned to each individual. And with everything viewable from a single dashboard, Denver’s in-house security specialists could gain greater visibility into access, strengthening risk management and security posture as a result.
Denver achieved all of its identity and access management goals, migrating to new solutions and onboarding applications in record time. What’s more, they were able to lower cost and expedite time-to-value, too. The process has also strengthened the in-house team’s SailPoint expertise, mastering essential skills like completing access reviews, certification and exclusion.
“At ProofID, our customers are the lifeblood of what we do,” said Dave Randall, Chief Services Officer at ProofID. “The success of organisations like Denver is our top priority. We work alongside them as partners, so their success is ours too.”
