Its workforce was previously managed across several enterprise applications, including its own proprietary platform. It took up to ten days for users to gain access to all the applications they needed to do their jobs. What’s more, this provisioning had to be reviewed and re-certified regularly to meet audit requirements.

This inefficiency was something Immedis wanted to solve, with a new solution for Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).

Immedis had a lengthy list of requirements of its new IGA solution, in order to meet its rigorous demands.

Creating, updating and deleting employee profiles. Automating management of joiners, movers and leavers, including account provisioning and de-provisioning. Delegated administration for department managers, including employee access review and certification. User self-service with password recovery. All these had to be factored into the solution, and one choice stood out from the others.

Immedis chose the Fastpath IGA platform (formerly ideiio), and turned to ProofID for support with the implementation, as well as making sure that it would integrate with Microsoft Azure AD for federation, authentication and access management.
